The era of big data puts forward higher requirements on the statistics work of higher education. However, due to the problems in the education statistics in the colleges and universities, such as, lack of ideological understanding, the limited capacity of statisticians,lack of statistical analysis,and so on,the function of statistics in higher education is greatly affected. Therefore,the statistics of higher education should shift from data collection to data depth analysis, rely on modern information technology to make effective use of statistical data, establish open-minded thinking and break school information silos, strengthen the training of statisticians to improve the quality of statistical data, establish research teams and strengthen statistics data research and analysis, and establish data-based education quality assurance system.%大数据时代对高校教育统计工作提出更高要求,然而由于高校对教育事业统计存在着思想认识不足、统计员业务能力有限、统计分析不到位等问题,大大影响高等教育事业统计功能的发挥.为此,高校教育统计应从数据搜集向数据深度分析转变,依托现代信息技术有效利用统计数据,树立开放办学思维,打破学校信息孤岛;强化统计人员培训,提升统计数据质量;组建研究团队,加强统计数据研究分析;建立基于数据的教育质量保障体系.
