@@ English language teaching has diversified over the years into various fields which address the needs of particular target groups. One of these fields is called English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) in the UK and English as a second language (ESL) in other English language-speaking countries.These terms are used to describe provision for people who leave their country of origin and settle permanently elsewhere.
