Firstly, this article introduces the background of WDM-PON technology. We found the disadvantage of WDM-PON is high cost. According to research and analysis, this paper proposes a multiple wavelength generator based on phase modulation ring. The cost will be greatly reduced as soon as this technology is applied to WDM-PON.%本文首先简单介绍了WDM-PON的技术背景，在此基础上分析WDM-PON的劣势为造价成本高，通过对现存关键技术的研究和对比，提出了一种基于相位调制环的多波长产生器，将这种技术应用于WDM-PON中，大大降低了成本。
