从梯级的角度阐释“宁可”句式及其教学建议

     

摘要

This paper interprets the sentence pattern “ningke A , yebu B”(宁可A,也不B) from the perspective of scale theory and discovers its implication as“the scale of A is lower than that of B in terms of certain dimension and mea⁃sure”. The diversity and significance of this scale dimension are further explored. In addition , the paper discusses both the grammatical meaning of the sentence pattern as“to highlight the anomalous choice by the actor”and its pragmatic function of“expressing the resolve to do something or not to do something”. Based on the above discussion,this paper also puts for⁃ward some suggestions for teaching the sentence pattern with ningke.%首先从梯级的角度重新阐释了“宁可A,也(不) B”句式,发现“A在某一度量维度上劣于B”的梯级是此句式的重要特质,并分析了这种梯级维度的多元性和显著性;此外,还发现此句式的语法意义是“彰显行为主体的反常选择”,语用目的是为了“表达坚决做某事或不做某事的决心”。在此基础上,本文提出了对于“宁可”句式的教学建议。
