Taking Qilihe-South Zhenzhu Road Section of Binjiang Avenue in Nanjing as an example, with numerical simulation, how excavation of different numbers of bench on old embankment affects deformation compatibility and stress concentration at the splicing between new and old embankments is studied. The result shows that too few benches would enlarge the difference between settlements of the splicing and left shoulder of the subgrade, and excessive benches lead to settlement of the shoulder larger than that of the splicing, influencing the compaction effect; moreover, benches set at the splicing could improve distribution of shearing stress there effectively and ease stress concentration at slope foot so that the new and old embankments could be combined to more effective extent, however, too few benches would reduce the splicing quality; thus 3-4 benches shall be appropriate in excavation.%以南京滨江大道七里河—珍珠南路工程为例,通过数值模拟分析,研究了老堤上开挖不同台阶层数对新老路堤拼接处的变形协调性和应力集中现象的影响.分析结果表明:台阶层数过少会增大拼接范围与路基左肩的沉降差,过多则会导致路肩沉降大于拼接范围内沉降,影响压实效果;拼接处设置台阶能够有效改善拼接处的剪应力分布情况,缓解坡脚的应力集中,使新老路堤更加有效衔接,但台阶层数过少也会降低拼接质量,控制开挖台阶层数应3~4层为宜.
