In view of the obvious deficiencies of the traditional pre-configured cycle (p-cycle)protection algorithm for the new Optical Transport Network (OTN)in protection efficiency and resource utilization,this paper presents an improved algorithm. As there are different workloads in two ways of links,this algorithm improves the resource utilization rate by prioritizing the selection of j umping links and increases protection efficiency in the case of limited resources.Simulation results in pan-Europe-an COST239 network show that this new algorithm significantly increases the resource utilization and is superior to the tradi-tional p-cycle protection algorithm in protection efficiency.%在新型 OTN(光传送网)中,传统的 p圈算法在保护效率和资源利用率上有明显的不足,文章针对这一缺点,提出了一种新的改进算法。该算法针对链路双向工作量的差别,通过优先选择跨接链路来提高资源利用率,还能在资源有限的情况下提高保护效率。在泛欧COST239网络上进行了仿真,仿真结果表明:该算法在资源利用率上有明显的提高,在保护效率上也优于传统的 p圈算法。
