近年来,大数据和云计算的发展不断地促进以太网交换机的升级,在这个过程中,需要一种支持SGMII(串行吉比特媒体独立接口)的光模块来应用在百兆和千兆交换机之间.SGMII是连接PHY(物理层)芯片和MAC(物理地址)的接口.文章在常规的100 Base-FX光模块中内置一块100/1 000 Mbit/s的PHY芯片,使来自千兆交换机MAC层的千兆数据通过百兆光模块转换成百兆数据再通过光信号传输出去,从而实现百兆和千兆交换机之间的直接通信.%In recent years, the development of big data and cloud computing promotes the Ethernet switch to upgrade.In this trend, a transceiver with the SGMII is needed to be used between 100 Mbit/s switch and gigabit switch.SGMII is an interface of PHY and MAC.In this paper, in order to achieve direct communication between fast and gigabit switches, we propose to use a 100/1 000 Mbit/s PHY chip in the conventional 100 Base-FX optical transceiver, which enable the 1 000 Mbit/s data from the MAC layer of gigabit switch convert to 100 Mbit/s data and transmit out in the form of optical signal through the 100 Base-FX optical transceiver.
