作为一个学科门类，艺术学越来越受到社会各界重视，将艺术学上升为学科门类、艺术学理论独立为一级学科已成定局。然而如何将艺术学理论研究提升到真正的学术层面，如何使之具有自己独立特色的研究而非比附文学、哲学、美学等，如何突出艺术学理论的学术本质而非纸上谈兵式的泛化思辨，关乎艺术学理论研究的价值取向与人才培养策略，是特别需要关注的话题。本文通过历史与现实的考察，旨在阐明艺术学理论虽然已经与美术、音乐、设计等学科拉开距离，但是其学术研究仍然要建立在技术基础之上，艺术理论研究者不一定成为艺术家，但一定要成为艺术的行家，以摆脱过去艺术理论与艺术实践日渐脱节的困境。%As a category of discipline, art study has received more and more attention from society and it is certain that the art theory will become an independent first - level discipline. How to elevate theoretical research of art study to a real academic level and endow it with unique features that are distinguished from literature, philosophy and aesthetics, as well as how to highlight the academic essence not idle general- ized speculations of art theories are important issues as they concern the value orientation and cultivation strategies of theoretical studies, which therefore requires special attention. After investigating into the his- ＇＂ tory and reality, this paper argues that though the theory of art study has already distanced from subjects including fine arts, music and design, the academic research of it should still be established on the basis of technology. Researchers of art theories do not have to be artists, but they must become experts on art so that the increasing dissociation between artistic theories and practices can be overcome.
