In light of the typical cases, some deep level defects in many types of ship bilge water separator were investigated from views of the design principle and utility test, finding that the common designed separators is not in conformity with the essential requirements of MARPOL.According to the typical defects found in the process of PSC and ship inspection in recent years, some solutions were set forth.%针对业界广泛使用的多种形式船舶机舱舱底水分离器存在的深层次问题,结合典型实例从设计原理和效用试验等角度进行分析,认为采取该种方式设计的分离器不符合MARPOL本质要求,综合考虑近年来在港口国监督和船舶检验过程中发现的分离器典型缺陷,针对此缺陷提出解决方案.
