Electronics Modular Enclosure(EME) is a new kind of equipment for integrating ,outfitting and testing de-signed for DDG-1000 destroyer .The history and development of the EMEs for the DDG-1000 destroyer program are de-cribed .The EME design alternatives and decisions made during the evolution of the ship program and the ship impacts asso-ciated with EMS are also outlined .%舰载电子模块化封装箱EM E （国内称为EM E电子方舱）是美军研发最新型驱逐舰DDG-1000过程中提出的一种新的集成、适配、测试设备。论文描述DDG-1000驱逐舰项目用 EM E的历史和开发过程，指出了该项目演化过程中EM E的设计选项和做出的决策，与EM E相关的对舰艇影响等。论文有助于各级领导和技术人员全面认识EM E。
