The continuous 5 -year experiment was carried out in peach orchard to study the effects of sod culture on soil nutrient and fruit quality,and also the influences of different sod culture ways on labor in-puts.The results showed that the contents of organic matter,alkalihydrolysable nitrogen,available phosphorus and available potassium in the treated soil increased obviously compared to the control.The sod culture signifi-cantly increased the single fruit weight and soluble solid content of peach,and increased the yield per unit are-a and quality at a certain extent,but had no significant influences on the fruit firmness and the contents of sol-uble sugar,titratable acid and VC.The average cost per unit area of mowing natural grass was the highest fol-lowed by using herbicides,while that of planting hairy vetch was the lowest.%以桃树为试材,研究连续生草对果园土壤肥力及果实品质的影响、不同生草方式对果园劳动力投入的影响。连续5年果园土壤养分测定结果表明:不同处理区土壤有机质、碱解氮、速效磷、速效钾含量均逐渐提高,且生草区处理明显高于对照清耕区。果园生草可显著提高桃果实单果重和可溶性固形物含量,能一定程度提高单位面积产量和品质,对果实硬度、可溶性糖、可滴定酸、VC 含量影响不显著;自然生草后刈割平均单位面积成本最高,使用除草剂进行清耕方式管理土壤成本居中,生毛叶苕子成本最低。
