从“语言相对论”角度看大学生英语写作中的句法错误

University students' syntax errors in English writing are mainly caused by English-Chinese thinking differences. Lin-guistic Relativity, also called "the Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis", is an important theory in exploring the relationship among language, thinking and culture. From the perspective of"Linguistics Rela-tivity", this paper analyzes university students' common syntax errors in English writing resulted from Chinese-Western thinking styles and their differences, and proposes corresponding counter-measures from the perspective of culture, hoping to provide some inspirations for the theoretical and practical research of college English teaching.%大学生英语写作中的句法错误主要是由于英汉思维差异导致的。语言相对论，又称“萨丕尔-沃尔夫假说”，是探究语言和思维、文化之间关系的重要理论。本文从“语言相对论”角度，分析了中西思维方式及其差异导致的大学生英语写作中常见的句法错误，并从文化角度提出相应的对策，以期为大学英语教学理论和实践研究提供一些启示。
