基于文化研究理论的英语专业写作教学实验设计方案

         

摘要

English writing is both a cultural and language transi-tion for Chinese students who major in English. Most of these students cover their Chinese core in the composition with English vocabulary and grammar. The result for this process is Chinglish which is typical among Chinese English learners. A design of ex-periment for English writing course is presented here to solve this problem. The theoretical basis for this design is cultural studies;the tools employed including student's test and analysis of vari-ance. The problems and settlements promoted by researchers and teachers in English writing are studied and carefully analyzed. This design with its detailed easy-to-follow steps could be a use-ful tool for English writing course.%中国英语专业学生用英语写作是一个复杂的文化置换和语言置换的过程。他们中大多数人以母语(汉语)思维,并将这种思维以英语词汇和语法形式表现出来,形成一种中国特有的英语———Chinglish(中式英语)。为改变这一状况,笔者以文化研究理论为基础,以外语教学科研方法中常用的t检验与方差分析法为工具,设计了英语专业写作教学实验方案。此方案基于国内外研究者和教学工作者对目前英语专业写作教学提出的问题和解决方式制定了比较完整的实验设计方案以及具体的操作步骤;并且提供了前测和后测中适用的科学测验方法。本实验设计方案理论基础牢固,设计步骤清晰,检测方法科学,是英语课堂教学改革的有力工具。
