高等教育的借鉴与超越--读《美国高等教育的发展与改革》有感

摘要

The transplantation of the American higher education to other countries could be divided into three stages.In the early 19th cen-tury until the end of the First World War,the American higher education was in a period of studying Germany comprehensively.On this basis, the American innovation and transcendence embodied in:establishing the philosophy of modern higher education,establishing and developing the graduate education system,and adhering to the principle of development of academic freedom.The revelation of the American higher edu-cation's innovation and beyond on the basis of reference to Chinese higher education mainly is that openness is the premise,and innovation is the key.%美国对他国高等教育的移植分为三个阶段。19世纪初至第一次世界大战结束，美国高等教育进人全面学习德国时期。在此基础上，美国的创新与超越体现在：确立现代高等教育理念，建立和发展研究生教育体制，以及坚持发展学术自由原则。美国高等教育在借鉴基础上的创新与超越带给我国高等教育的经验启示主要为开放是前提，而创新是关键。
