In Nineteenth century, German physiologist Emil du Bois-Reymond is the discoverer of action potential and rest potential by experimental works on frog neuromuscular specimens. He put forward a new theory- pre-existence theory. By studies for decades of Emil du Bois-Reymond and his students, a new era of bioelectrical exploration come.
