Objective To study the relationship between lumbar disc herniation and vertebral bone mineral density (BMD) by using quantitative CT in elderly patients with lumbar disc herniation and healthy elderly.Methods A total of 125 elderly patients with lumbar disc herniation were selected as the study subjects.At the same time,125 healthy elderly subjects were selected as the control.The bone density of the lumbar spine was detected by quantitative CT.Results The mean value of bone mineral density,T value and Z value in vertebral disc herniation group were significantly lower than those in healthy elderly subjects (P＜0.01).The T value and Z value were significantly lower in female than those in male of lumbar disc herniation group,while age and vertebral bone mineral density showed no significant differences between male and female (P＞ 0.05).There was no significant difference in age,vertebral bone mineral density,T value and Z value between male and female in the healthy group(P＞ 0.05).The incidence rate of osteoporosis in lumbar disc herniation group was 12.00％,compared with 1.6％ in the healthy group (P＜0.01),and the ration of normal bone mineral density in lumbar disc herniation group was significantly lower than that in the healthy group (P＜0.01).Conclusions There is a close correlation between lumbar disc herniation and lumbar vertebrae bone density,which may affect each other and induce each other.%目的 运用定量CT检测老年腰椎间盘突出症病人及健康老年体检者的腰椎骨密度,分析腰椎间盘突出症与椎体骨密度的关系. 方法 选取我院收治的125例老年腰椎间盘突出症病人作为研究对象,同时选取125例健康老年体检者作为对照,运用定量CT检测2组腰椎相同部位的骨密度. 结果 无论男女,腰椎间盘突出症组的椎体骨密度均值、T值、Z值均显著低于健康体检组(P＜0.01);女性腰椎间盘突出症病人T值、Z值均明显低于男性病人(P＜0.01),年龄、椎体骨密度均值在不同性别间比较差异无统计学意义(P＞0.05);健康体检者男性与女性年龄、椎体骨密度均值、T值、Z值比较差异无统计学意义(P＞0.05);腰椎间盘突出症组骨密度正常占比为54.40％,明显低于健康体检组(P＜0.01),腰椎间盘突出症组骨质疏松占比为12.00％,显著高于健康体检组(P＜0.01). 结论 老年腰椎间盘突出症与腰椎骨密度间存在密切的相关性,这二者间可能互相影响,互为因果.
