Nowadays,the bedding compaction technology is normally applied to the rubble bedding of gravity caisson quay in China. The upper structure construction can’t be done until the placed caissons are stabilized in a certain period of natural settlement. Xiamen port Zhaoyin harbor berth No.10 project is a typical gravity caisson quay with the design uniform load of 100Kpa on quay surface. Due to the shorter construction period,the upper structure construction started as soon as the installation of caissons was completed. In order to minimize the post-construction settlement,the upper structure of the quay wall was improved by surcharge preloading method. That project is taken as an example to analyze the surcharge preloading effect according to the settlement and displacement data monitored during the construction.%目前国内重力式沉箱结构码头一般采用基床夯实工艺对抛石基床进行夯实,沉箱安装完成后通过一段时间自然沉降,趋于稳定后才进行码头上部结构施工。厦门港招银港区10号泊位工程是典型的重力式沉箱结构码头,码头面设计堆货荷载为均布荷载100 kPa。由于工期要求紧,沉箱安装完成后即开始上部结构施工,为减少码头工后沉降,该工程特别对码头墙身上部结构区域进行了堆载预压处理。本文就以该工程为例,通过施工过程中沉降、位移观测数据,对其堆载预压后的效果进行分析。
