In recent years, a significant breakthrough has been made in the research of structure design and technological system of large-size silo clusters, which lays the foundation for the silo structure being widely used in China port industry. Specialized and mechanized silo shortens material handling process, reduces the costs for the system operation and maintenance, and realizes simple and high-efficient operation in contrast with heavy bagging operations, which is in line with the development of environmental protection in China.
