The effect of legislation on plastic additive industries was discussed by analyzing the content of laws, regulations and standards at home and abroad. In order to adapt to the legal and regulatory requirements, the industry set-up must be readjusted, the researching and developing of products which are environmental protection, low toxicity, safety, high efficiency must be carried out. The content and operation of traceable system has been introduced in detail.
