In order to tackle with low elongation of high strength (HRB500E) coiled reinforced bar for building, the analysis of chemical composition, the observation of microstructure, SEM and EDS on unqualified samples are conducted.The results show that, the key reason for low elongation of HRB500E hot ribbed rebar is too much non-metallic inclusions and relatively concentrated distribution.Thus, the measures are put forward to improve the mechanical properties of steel.%针对某钢厂在生产HRB500E高强度建筑用盘螺钢时出现延伸率偏低的现象,通过对不合格试样进行化学成分分析、金相观察、扫描电镜和EDS分析,发现钢中非金属夹杂物含量过多、分布较集中是导致延伸率偏低的主要原因,并提出相应的改进措施以提高钢筋的力学性能.
