Based on the theoretics of machine thermal analysis, FEM is used to calculate the temperature inside and outside wall of the hydraulic dynamic-static bearing and the head-stock. It not only builds the steady thermal field of the spindle system is, but also analyzes the thermal deformation of the spindle. They provide the data for the thermal compensation of the spindle system.
