HIPS/OMMT纳米复合材料燃烧炭渣结构分析

         

摘要

The structure characteristics, the thermal stability and pyrolysis characteristics of the char residue of HIPS/OMMT nanocomposite in different stages of burning process in cone calorimeter were studied by SEM and TG. The experimental results show that the skin-cellular layer come into being at peak HRR stage and a few carbonaceous matter form during burning, thereby the thermal stability of skin layer is improved. The carbonaceous matter is oxidized and montmorillonite plates is left. The thermal stability of the cellular char'layer is not as good as that of the skin char layer, but the cellular char layer augments the bulk of char layer. It is the perfect combination of the skin and cellular layers that imparts flame retardancy to the nanocomposite, and the skin layer plays a critical part.%采用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)及热重分析(TGA)方法对高抗冲聚苯乙烯(HIPS)/有机蒙脱土(OMMT)纳米复合材料在锥形量热仪试验中不同燃烧时间段形成炭渣的结构、热稳定性和热分解特性进行了分析研究.结果表明,复合材料在释放速率为峰值时开始形成皮层-窝层组合的炭层结构,皮层中形成少量热稳定性较好的碳质物,提高了皮层的热稳定性,燃烧结束时碳质物被氧化,留下蒙脱土(MMT)片层;窝层热稳定性较差,但增大了炭层的体积;皮层和窝层的组合对复合材料起到阻燃作用,其中皮层起主要作用.
