The melt blending method was used to prepare the PP/Al(OH)3 halogen-free flame re-tardant composites with polypropylene(PP)as matrix resin,Al(OH)3 as filler and maleic anhydride-grafted EPDM (EPDM-g-MAH)as compatible agents.Thermal properties,the mechanical properties and flame retardant properties of the composites were investigated.The results show that the addition of Al(OH)3 can improve the thermal stability of PP/Al(OH)3 composites.The tensile strength of PP/Al(OH)3 composites decreases significantly,but the flexural strength and impact strength of PP/Al (OH)3 composites increase first and then decrease with the increasing of the content of Al(OH)3 . When the mass fraction of Al(OH)3 is 30%,Al(OH)3 is an excellent flame-retarded agent in the composites,and the comprehensive performance of PP/Al(OH)3 composites is optimum.%以聚丙烯(PP)为基体,氢氧化铝为无机阻燃填料,马来酸酐接枝三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM-g-MAH)为相容剂,采用熔融共混法制得了PP/Al(OH)3无卤阻燃复合材料,研究了复合材料的热性能、力学性能和阻燃性能。结果表明:Al(OH)3可以提高PP/Al(OH)3复合体系的热稳定性。随着 Al(OH)3含量的增加,PP/Al(OH)3复合材料的拉伸强度显著下降,弯曲强度和冲击强度则先升高后下降。当 Al(OH)3质量分数为30%时,Al(OH)3在复合材料中起到了显著的阻燃作用, PP/Al(OH)3复合材料的综合性能较好。
