The proxy mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) as an improved version of MIPv6 is widely used recently. However the available research suggests that the data transmission path isn′t the optimized one in PMIPv6,particularly when the mobile node (MN) and correspondent node (CN) are at the similar topology network for signaling interaction,it is easily to aggravate the burden of the entire link and LMA seriously,and causes the unnecessary network transmission delay,and impacts on the mo⁃bile network performance. To solve these problems,the design and implementation of a PMIPv6 route optimization protocol are proposed,which can improve the network performance of proxy mobile IPv6 protocol effectively.%PMIPv6作为MIPv6的一种改进版本,近年来得到了广泛的应用。然而现有研究表明,在PMIPv6中数据传输的路径并没有达到最优化,特别是在移动用户节点(MN)与通信节点(CN)处于相近的拓扑网络上进行信令交互时,很容易导致整个链路和LMA的负担严重加重,进而造成不必要的网络通信时延,影响移动网络性能。针对这一问题,提出了一种代理移动IPv6的路由优化协议的设计和实现,通过该协议有效地提高代理移动IPv6的网络性能。
