A triangular microstrip antenna based on defected ground structure(DGS)was designed. The slot in ice crystal shape and DGS are embedded on the surface of the triangular patch and triangular ground connection to realize the dual-frequency operation,which can extend the bandwidth of the antenna. The Ansoft HFSS software is used to simulate the antenna. The antenna covers the frequency bands of Wimax 3.5/5.5 GHz,and their bandwidths corresponding to 10 dB return loss are 9.1% at 3.36~3.68 GHz and 1.8% at 5.45~5.55 GHz respectively. In comparison with the commonly-used rectangular substrate,the triangular substrate has more perfect impedance bandwidth and smaller size. The antenna was processed and tested. At 3.5 GHz and 5.5 GHz frequency bands,the corresponding measured bandwidths is 8% at 3.38~3.66 GHz and 1.6% at 5.44~5.53 GHz,which are con-sistent with the simulation results.%设计一种基于缺陷地结构(DGS)的三角形微带天线,通过在三角形贴片表面和三角形接地面上分别嵌入冰晶状槽和DGS实现双频操作,同时增加了天线的带宽,并使用Ansoft HFSS软件对天线进行仿真,天线覆盖Wimax 3.5/5.5 GHz两个频段,对应的10 dB回波损耗带宽分别是9.1%(3.36~3.68 GHz)和1.8%(5.45~5.55 GHz).此外,通过对介质基板的形状进行比较后发现,与通常使用的矩形介质基板相比,三角基板具有更好的阻抗带宽和更小的体积.最后,对天线进行加工和测试,在3.5 GHz和5.5 GHz频段对应的实测带宽是8%(3.38~3.66 GHz)和1.6%(5.44~5.53 GHz),测试与仿真结果基本一致.
