Objective To explore the application and effect of infant electric toothbrush in oral care of critical patients undergoing stomatonasothracheal intubation. Method 53 critical patients undergoing stomatonasothracheal intubation during August 2009 and April 2010 were set as the study group taking oral care using infant electric toothbrush and collutory, while another 47 patients under the same conditions as the control group receiving routine oral care. Result The study group was significant lower than the control group regarding oral foreign odor, inflammation and ulcer (all P < 0.01). Conclusions The method of clearing using infant electric toothbrush and collutory for oral care of critical patients is more effective than the routine method of cleaning by way of dipping in collutory using cotton ball. It can lessen the incidences of oral foreign odor, inflammation and ulcers.%目的 探讨小儿电动牙刷在口鼻气管插管患者口腔护理中的应用方法和效果.方法 2009年8月～2010年4月,选择在本科室住院的经口鼻气管插管患者53例为研究组,采用小儿电动牙刷结合漱口液进行口腔护理;同期选择在本科室住院的经口鼻气管插管患者47例为对照组,采用传统的方法进行口腔护理.比较两组口腔异味、炎症及溃疡发生率的差异.结果 研究组患者口腔异味、炎症及溃疡发生率均低于对照组,两组比较,均P＜ 0.0l,差异具有统计学意义.结论 采用小儿电动牙刷对口鼻气管插管患者实施口腔护理,其清洗效果优于传统的口腔护理方法,可降低患者口腔异味、炎症及溃疡发生率,值得临床推广应用.
