With the rapid development of robot technology, industrial robots have been widely used in machining fields. Com-bined the relevant development of robotics and the current developing condition of industrial robots, a brief review on research of its application in machining is proposed, such as trajectory planning, offline programming, machining accuracy and error compensation, and stiffness. Then the advantages and disadvantages of industrial robots in machining application, and future trends are proposed.%随着工业机器人技术的快速发展,其在机械加工领域得到了广泛的应用。结合目前工业机器人产业的发展,在分析国内外其发展现状的基础上,就工业机器人在轨迹规划、离线编程、加工精度和误差补偿、刚度等相关方面技术的研究,综合其在机械加工中的应用作简要的综述。总结了工业机器人在机械加工领域应用的优缺点,以及未来发展的趋势。
