At the same time, the application in optical, catalysis, adsorption, biomedical and magnetic of the three-dimensional ordered macroporous materials is summed. In particular, the application of photonic crystal materials as silicon thin film solar cell back reflector, light absorbing layer and intermediate reflective layer is discussed. As well as the application of photonic crystal in dye sensitized solar cell is discussed.
