The trend of water quality monitoring stations in the Bohai Sea was optimized and adjusted using a sta-bility assessment method in relation to the water quality. An assessment of the spatiotemporal importance of moni-toring stations and an optimal design method for the stations was determined on the basis of the trend of monitoring data between 2000 and 2010 for three main pollution factors, namely, inorganic nitrogen, active phosphate, and COD. Optimization of the layout of water quality monitoring stations could provide effective and objective support for the assessment of temporal trends in the water quality of the Bohai Sea.%以2000年-2010年无机氮、活性磷酸盐和化学需氧量这三个主要污染因子趋势性监测数据为基础,采用水质空间稳定性评价、监测站位时空重要性评价以及站位网络优化设计等技术方法,对渤海2010年原有的海洋环境趋势性水质监测站位进行优化调整,为渤海海域水质的时空变化趋势评价,提供更为有效、客观的支撑。
