Cross Calibrated Multi-Platform (CCMP) remotely sensed wind is a newly released ocean wind dataset which has much higher spatial and temporal resolution, and it can cover the entire ocean surface. After analyzing theirreliability, the CCMP wind datasets are used as the input to simulate wind-induced wave with the SWAN model, then the simulated significant wave height (SWH) is analyzed. The comparison between the model result and the data obtained by the radar altimeter shows that the simulated SWH meets the requirements of precision in the sea wave forecasting.%CCMP(Cross Calibrated Multi-Platform)风场数据是一种具有较高的时间、空间分辨率和全球海洋覆盖能力的新型卫星遥感资源.
