I am delighted to contribute in a small way to the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Journal of Linguistic Sciences(although sadly,I cannot be physically among you).It is interesting to note that the anniversary date corresponds to the 10th anniversary of the Hauser,Chomsky,and
