INTRODUCTION The American Heart Association(AHA)and American College of Cardiology(ACC)guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM)were released in October 2020.The guidelines,issued in2011,were updated after an analysis of nearly a decade of new research.
