电子期刊馆藏发展的分析与研究——以北美ARL大学图书馆为例

摘要

This paper researches ARL statistics of electronic serial expenditures and collections,and shows that electronic serial has become the important part of collection development and is trending to replace the position of print one.It also analyses the problems of electronic serial collection development such as duplicated order,rising in price and so on,and suggests working out strategic plan,coordinating the development of electronic and print serial,strengthening the consortium and interlibrary cooperation,etc.%通过对北美ARL大学图书馆历年来电子期刊经费和馆藏情况的实证分析研究,指出电子期刊已成为馆藏建设的重要组成部分,并有逐步取代纸本期刊地位之势;探讨了电子期刊馆藏发展中存在着重复订购、涨价、长期存取和与纸本刊的协调等问题,提出了制定战略规划、协调好电子刊与纸本刊的发展、加强联盟力量与馆际合作等的措施和建议。
