图书馆编目外包未来走向探析

Scientific and reasonable cataloging outsourcing could save human resources, material resources and financial resources, improve the work efficiency and service quality. Libraries in China have implemented the cataloging outsourcing one by one, but have gone into the misunderstanding of pursuing free outsourcing services excessively, which lead to the quality reduction of cataloging data. Therefore, libraries should combine with the actual situation, abandon low-level free cataloging outsourcing services forwardly, train professional cataloging outsourcing providers positively, and implement the cataloging outsourcing program cautiously.%科学、合理的编目业务外包能够节省图书馆的人力、物力、财力,提高工作效率和服务质量。目前我国图书馆纷纷实施编目业务外包,但走入了过份追求免费外包服务的误区,导致编目数据质量下降。为此,图书馆应结合本馆实际情况,主动放弃低水平的免费编目外包,积极培育专业编目外包商,同时慎重实施编目外包项目。
