短时记忆理论在英语听力理解中的应用

摘要

Short-term memory (STM) is at the second stage of memory, also called the stage of information processing. Knowing and complying with the law of STM is crucial for enhancing listening comprehension. The author compares and analyzes two teaching plans of the same listening course, discusses about how to use STM law to enhance students' listening comprehension, and puts forward some means to lift listening level, such as language training reinforcement and grammar knowledge expansion.%短时记忆位于记忆的第二阶段,又被称作信息加工处理阶段.了解并遵循短时记忆的规律对于提高英语听力理解能力至关重要.笔者将同一节听力课的两套教案作为案例进行对比分析,就如何在听力教学中运用短时记忆规律提高英语听力理解能力进行了探讨,提出了加强语言训练、扩充句法知识等提高听力水平的途径.
