辅导员特别是专业课教师兼任辅导员，应具备真正热爱、甘愿奉献的思想基础；恪尽职守，勇于担当的职业精神；应有效运用扬长避短，统筹兼顾的工作方法。专业教师兼任辅导员工作不仅是为了解决专任辅导员的不足，而是造就专兼结合的辅导员队伍和培养优秀专业教师队伍的需要。其真谛是：专业教师通过兼任辅导员的工作实践，把对学生进行思想政治教育内化为自己的工作“天职”，外化为教书育人的自觉行动。%The subject teacher ,as the part‐time counselor ,should be devoted to the work ,be willing to take up the responsibilities ,and be able to make overall plans and take all factors into consideration .The subject teacher undertaking the counselor work can solve the short‐age of full‐time counselors ,and it is good for building the counselors’ team and higher‐quali‐ty teaching staff .Through the counselor work practice ,subject teachers will take the initia‐tive to take ideological and political education as an indispensable part of their job responsi‐bility .
