ON SIMULTANEOUS L~P-APPROXIMATION (0p≤+∞) OF QUASI-HERMITE INTERPOLATION AND ITS DERIVATIVE

In this paper, simultaneous uniform approximation and mean convergence ofquasi-Hermite interpolation and its derivative based on the zeros of Jacobi polynomials areconsidered separately. The degrees of the corresponding approximations are respectivelygiven also. Some known results are improved aud extended.
