明代山西藩府刻书述略

摘要

During the Ming Dynasty , imperial military governors enjoyed political privilege , favorable e-conomic treatment , and education from prestige scholars , thus they were free from worries about making a liv-ing.At the same time, they were also in possession of an abundance of books .All these made it possible for them to undertake book carving and printing .The book-carving collected by the imperial military governor in Shanxi are exquisite in quality and binding , and there existed about over 60 kinds of this according to historic textual researches .These are of high value and importance in editions , document , artistic and academic stud-ies, and hold an prominent position in the history of Shanxi culture and Chinese publishing history .However, as far as the techniques and economic value is concerned , there also exist some flaws with the book -carving and printing by the imperial military governors .%明代宗藩政治上享有特权，又不习四民之业，经济上享有优厚待遇，文化上受名师教育，人才辈出，同时藩府内藏书甚多，为从事刻书事业提供了充足条件。山西藩府刻书精美，质量上乘，今可考者六十余种，具有极高的版本价值、文献价值、艺术价值和学术价值，在山西文化史和中国出版史上占有重要地位，但从技术层面和经济层面来看，山西藩府刻书也存在一些不足。
