Objective To analysis the levels of interleukin ( IL )-17 and matrix metalloprotienase ( MMP )-3 in synovial fluid and plasma in patients with rheumatoid arthritis ( RA ) and to investigate it' s clinical significance. Methods The levels of IL-17 and MMP -3 in plasma and synovial fluid in RA patients were tested by ELISA, simultaneously, The relationships among IL-17, MMP-3 and other clinical indexes were analyzed. Results IL-17 and MMP-3 levels in synovial fluid in patients with RA were significantly higher than those in control groups ( P < 0.01 ), the levels of plasma IL-17 and MMP-3 in active RA patients were apparently higher than thoe in stable ones ( P < 0. 01 ), meanwhile the sine case occurred between stable and control groups ( P < 0. 01 ), the levels of plasma and synovial fluid MMP-3 showed positive relationship with CRP, DA S28 ( P < 0.05 ) but none with RF( P > 0.05 ), the plasma and synovial fluid levels of IL-17 also shown positive relationship with MMP-3, CRP, RF, DAS28 ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion IL-17 and MMP-3, which have abnormal elevations in synovial fluid and plasma from patients with RA, its levels were well correlated to the activity of RA and the elevated plasma IL-17 levels may be the useful markers for active RA.%目的:分析类风湿关节炎(RA)患者滑膜液及血浆中白细胞介素-17(IL-17)、基质金属蛋白酶-3(MMP-3)的水平及其临床意义.
