全球化已成为目前人们所关注的焦点问题之一。而身份认同问题则一直是困扰新加坡人们的敏感话题。《玛门公司》主人公甘家灯正面临着在全球化浪潮的冲击下身份认同的困惑，此时这种身份认同困惑已演变成一种身份认同危机，面对此种困惑和危机，她踏上了身份认同的寻求之旅。强化个体的身份认同是形成民族文化和民族凝聚力的有效手段之一。%With the rapid development of globalization, people are paying more and more attention to it. It is known that identity is the most sensitive topic bothering Singaporeans all the time. The protagonist in Mammon Inc. is faced with identity puzzle under globalization which has become an identity crisis. Facing such identity puzzle as well as identity crisis, she embarks on the way to search her identity. Reinforcing individual＇ s identity is one of the effective means to cultivate national culture and cohesion.
