当今中国生态环境问题层出不穷，化解生态环境危机刻不容缓，生态思想政治教育作为一种新型的社会实践活动，其发展滞后于社会发展的需要，因此正确认识生态思想政治教育的内涵，明确生态思想政治教育的必要性和重要性至关重要。要推进生态思想政治教育，可从宣传生态伦理观，形成生态意识和生态思想；完善生态法治制度，建设生态思想政治教育的长效机制；汇聚各方力量，形成强大的生态育人合力三个方面着手。%As the report at 18th Party Congress pointed out that"Promoting ecological progress is a long-term task of vi-tal importance to the people's wellbeing and China's future",ecological environmental protection is more under the attention of the Party and the people.Today's environmental problems in China emerge endlessly,so solving the ecological crisis is an ur-gent issue.As a new type of social practice activities,the development of ecological ideological and political education lags be-hind the need of social development.Therefore,the correct understanding of the connotation of the ecological ideological and political education and clearly defining the necessity and importance of state of ideological and political education are very impor-tant.In order to promote ideological and political education,we should propaganda the concept of ecological ethics and form ec-ological awareness and ecological thinking;improve the ecological system of the rule of law,form the lasting effect mechanism of the ideological and political education in building ecological;converge all forces and form strong ecological education ability.
