In order to solve the security problem of hydraulic support lifting, security solution of a self-made hook is verified in this pape. With material mechanics theory, mathematical models were set up, through strength calibration of different areas of a self-made hook, to verify its safety, it has important reference meaning to safety verification of a self-made hook in future.
