Beginning with a detailed introduction of CS-ACELP algorithm based on G. 729 protocol, this paper does analysis of the algorithm's computational complexity of each functional modules, which shows high complexity and high demanding for the hardware system. Thus some improvements are made by reducing the impulse locations and adding general search in the low correlation impulse locations, which can accelerate the fixed codebook search and reduce the computational complexity. Experiment simulation is carried out to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the improved algorithm.%在详细阐述G.729协议的CSACELP算法工作原理的基础上,分析了该算法各功能模块的算法复杂度,针对其总体复杂度较高,对硬件实现条件要求较高的问题,对复杂度相对较高的固定码书搜索部分采用减少脉冲搜索位置和补充搜索相结合的方式进行了改进,加快了码书的搜索速度,降低了算法复杂度.通过对改进后的算法进行实验仿真,验证了其可行性和有效性.
