Inrevealingthenatureofreadingprocess,moreattentionhasbeengiventotheroleplayedbya reader.ThispaperdiscussestheapplicationofSchematatheoryinreadinginthelightofunderstandingandappre ciationoftwopoems.Bycomparingthetwopoemsinchoiceofwordsandinarrangementofthepoems,thispaper verifiesthepracticalinfluenceofschematatheoryinreadingprocess.
