文化批评视阈中的《儿子和情人》

D.H.劳伦斯的第一部代表作《儿子和情人》叙述的故事被许多评论家看作是俄狄浦斯情结的文学诠释。但从更为宏观的文化批评视角可以发现,劳伦斯通过对一个俄狄浦斯式情感故事的叙述,为我们揭示了现代社会机械化工业文明侵蚀下人的异化和资本主义工业化进程中理性对非理性的压制等社会主题,对人性的复归与自然欲望的解放发出了热切的呼唤。%The story D. H. Lawrence tells in his first masterpiece Sons and Lovers, has been regarded as literary interpretation of Oedipus Complex by many critics. However, from a macroscopic perspec- tive of cultural criticism, we can find that through the narration of the story, Lawrence reveals such social themes as the human alienation caused by mechanization of industrial civilization in modern soci- ety and the oppression the rational impose on the irrational in the process of capitalist industrializa- tion, calling for the return of humanity and the liberation of natural desires.
