The strategy of TNCs in China shows in the two different development orientations of embeddedness and footloose. Only embedding and taking root in China deeply can TNCs obtain the best performance and sustainable competitive advantage. So, embeddedness in China is an inevitable choice of TNCs. This paper proposes that three changes should be made and three strategies, that is, strategy of enhancing regions, strategy of integrating organizations and strategy of merging culture, should be implemented when TNCs embedding in China.%跨国公司在华战略表现出“嵌入性”与“松脚性”两种截然不同的发展取向。跨国公司只有深度嵌入中国,扎根中国才能取得最大的绩效,赢得持久的竞争优势。跨国公司在华战略演进路径表现为从战略连接到战略嵌入,最终走向战略耦合。研究跨国公司在华战略演进对我国今后利用外资、实现产业转型升级具有重要启示。
