Purpose/Significance] In this paper, we explore the influence factors of network public opinion. It can contribute to pre-warning and enhance the response capacity for government in social security emergency. [ Method/Process] Based on the data of network public opinion in social security emergencies, we adopt the survival analysis method to analyze the 70 major social security emergencies. The lifecycle of network public opinion in social security emergency is described. The influence factors of the survival process is explored. [ Result/Conclusion] Some research results found that among the lifecycles of terrorist attack, mass incident, criminal case have signifi-cant difference. So we conclude that the following factors include the number of crime, the social status of crime and the change of victim’ s social status has significant influence on the network public opinion lifestyle.%[目的/意义]探索网络舆情的影响因素有助于舆情预警及增强政府应对社会安全事件的舆情能力。[方法/过程]以突发社会安全事件网络舆情数据为研究对象，采用生存分析方法对70起重大社会安全事件进行分析，描述了各类社会安全事件网络舆情的生存周期，探索了影响社会安全事件网络舆情生存时间的影响因素。[结果/结论]分析发现恐怖袭击、群体事件、刑事案件这三类事件生存时间有显著差异。作案人数、作案人社会地位等级、案件是否导致受害人社会地位变动三个因素对突发社会安全事件的生存周期有明显的影响。
