In Charles Taylor ’ s diagnosis of modernity , the ideal of authenticity can be said to be one of the most important key words .Taylor discusses three malaises of modernity , and the ideal of authenticity is a major throughout.Firstly, Taylor investigates three central themes of declines of modernity .Secondly, against misreading and distortion of the current popular authentic culture for the ideal of authenticity , Taylor further clarifies the ideological roots of obscuring the ideal of authenticity .Finally , the author generalizes three conno-tations of Taylor ’ s ideal of authenticity on above basis .%在查尔斯·泰勒对现代性的诊断中，本真性理想可以说是最为重要的核心关键词之一。泰勒详尽地阐述了现代性的三大隐忧，而本真性理想则成为贯穿于其论述始终的一条重要线索。首先，泰勒考察了现代性衰落的三个核心主题；其次，针对当前流行的本真性文化对本真性理想的误读与扭曲，泰勒进一步阐明了种种遮蔽本真性理想的思想根源；最后，在前述基础上，文章总结泰勒本真性理想的三重内涵。
