荀子音乐思想的伦理学维度

摘要

Xunzi concentrated on the Confucian theory of music through the “Music Theory” . However , music did not have independent position and values in the Confucianism thoughts system . Music was just a kind of accessories . Xunzi gave music profound ethic values . He paid great attention to the role of music in the moral education . Xun Zi regarded ethics as the standard of musical value judgement . As a result of the ethics dimension of Xunzi's musical thoughts , traditional Confucian had high expectation of music's social functions . But it severely set obstacles to development of Chinese ancient music due to ignoring the music's self aesthetic value .%荀子作《乐论》，集中阐述了儒家的音乐理论，然而音乐在儒家的思想中并不具有独立的地位与价值，音乐是附属在儒家伦理学之中的。荀子赋予音乐以深刻的伦理价值，重视音乐在道德建设过程中的特殊功用，并将伦理作为音乐评判的根本标准。荀子音乐思想的伦理学维度既使得传统儒家极其重视音乐的社会功能，但又忽视了音乐自身的审美价值，阻碍了中国古代音乐的发展。
