功能翻译理论视角下《孙子兵法·计篇》译本比较研究

摘要

《孙子兵法》是中国古代一部伟大的兵书,已有多种英译本。但由于译者理解不同,译作各有千秋,翻译的准确度难分伯仲。功能翻译理论从功能特征出发,建立起的翻译原则——目的原则、篇内一致原则和忠诚原则能够较好地评价不同译者对相同内容翻译的准确度。运用这一理论对《孙子兵法·计篇》的两个英译本进行比较,通过实证分析各译本的特点,考察作者翻译的得与失。%The Art of War, one of the greatest books on military science in ancient China, has been translated into many English versions. However, due to the comprehensiveness of different translator, each version in his own way has made an important contribution. From the perspective of functional translation theory, purpose principle, coherence principle, and loyalty principle, make a comparative study on two English versions of The Art of War was made, and then attempts to analyze the characteristics of each version and investigate their gains and losses were analysed.
